Common questions

A film I’m expecting has no showtimes

UK cinemas usually publish showtimes about one to two weeks before a film opens, and smaller releases can be later still. Until a cinema publishes its schedule, CineOS will show the release date rather than invent times. If a film is already playing and still shows nothing, let us know.

A showtime looks wrong or has changed

Showtimes come from licensed data that refreshes several times a day, but cinemas can change or withdraw screenings at short notice. The cinema’s own website is always the final word. If you spot a persistent error, email us with the film and cinema and we’ll investigate.

Bookings, tickets, refunds and payments

CineOS does not sell tickets or take payment. When you book, we hand you over to the cinema’s own website, and your booking, payment, tickets, changes and refunds are all handled by that cinema under their terms. For anything relating to an existing booking, please contact the cinema directly.

Which cinemas and areas are covered?

CineOS currently covers cinemas in the United Kingdom, spanning the major chains and a wide range of independents. If a cinema near you is missing, tell us which one and we’ll look into adding it.

A film’s details, poster or trailer looks wrong

Film information and artwork come in part from The Movie Database. If something is inaccurate, email us and we’ll correct it where we can.

For bugs, data errors, or anything that looks unsafe or incorrect, email support@cineos.co with as much detail as you can. If you’re reporting a security issue, please say so in the subject line and we’ll prioritise it.
